Ashley Madekwe is an English actress since December 6th, 1981. Ashley Madekwe, born the 6th of December, 1981 is a famous English actor. Her mother is English and her father Nigerian. She was raised on an estate in south London council estate, and went to The Brit School at age 14. She pursued acting studies at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While at school, she portrayed Catherine Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights and King Henry V. Madekwe began her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. In the years since, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Then, she was the lead in Elisha on the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN.
