Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name he uses is the combination of the name of a loved uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He signed a contract for joint-recording with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. It was followed with the release of a second mixtape called Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in late 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. After the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first performer on The Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within a year.
